Today was my sister's high school graduation. I'd say I was happy for her but I'm not since she was arrested for a drug charge like a month ago. Anyway, it was held at a college campus so naturally there were a number of buildings. If you want to picture this: the building we had the enter was a square. We parked a little bit south of southern entrance. To remember where we parked, my mom took note of the building name it the upper right corner of that side of the building. Well you know what? spoilers: that name was on every side of the building.
After the event was over, we left through the east entrance. My mom sees the building name in the upper right, but isn't quite sure where to go. Surprisingly she does a smart thing and asks a worker where the parking lot was. Unsurprisingly, she decided that she was lying to us and that her "sense of direction" would lead us to salvation. I would like to point out that I knew where to go, but then there wouldn't be a story.
After about twenty minutes of wandering in the wrong direction, we wind back up where we started. She asks a different worker and what do you know that person also told us the right direction. Again my mom points out that her "sense of direction" (god she must have said those words like twenty times) tells her to go the other way. This time, however, my sister kindly told my mom to shut the fuck up. So we go in the direction we where pointed to and surprise surprise it was the right direction.
And you know what, there were fucking giant, I'm in your face, signs saying which entrance we were at. No lets not pay any attention to those lets just remember the building name I'm sure that will come in handy.
